Memphis, TN ( prsafe ) February 20, 2012 - Jeff Ross, Franchise owner of Showhomes Memphis, accepted the Shooting Star Award at the 2012 Showhomes Annual Conference in Orlando on behalf of the Showhomes Memphis team. This prominent award honors the franchise location open 3 years or longer that attained the largest year over year increase in sales revenue.

The Memphis franchise definitely succeeded, growing their franchise revenue a whopping 176% year over year. Ross gives credit to his team - his wife Heidi, who handles much of the staging and home décor efforts, operations manager Glynda Roffmann, marketing managers Scott Pioreck and Alyssa Lundy, and general manager Lisa Hirschman.

"I know all the hard work my team has done, and it was an honor to accept the award on behalf of them," says Ross. "I am very thankful to all the people that allowed us to get to this point - from the Realtors to the builders to the home stagers. Every day [with Showhomes] is new and exciting - and you have to keep building on the successes. We're building our franchises on quality, not just quantity."

The Home Staging Memphis franchise is heading into its 4th year in business. Along with the Shooting Star Award, Ross also walked away from the conference with an Ambassador Award, honoring him for showing a dedication to helping others through mentoring efforts. The franchise also earned a Fastest Average Sell Time Award, a Revenue Award and a Circle of Excellence Award.

Ross also owns the successful Showhomes Little Rock franchise, which is now in its 9th year. The franchise won a President's Club Award and a Circle of Excellence award at this year's conference.

The 2012 conference celebrated the success of 2011, which was a banner year for the nationally franchised company. Showhomes reported a sales increase of 22% and continued to add new, successful locations throughout the country. Despite the tough housing market, the company continues to add new, successful locations, making it one of the best franchise opportunities in several categories for the second year in a row, according to the recent Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500 list.
