Future Electronics Announces Availability of Freescale Kinetis K10 and K20 Ultra-Low-Power MCU
29-Mar-2012 | News-Press Release
Montreal, Canada ( prsafe ) March 27, 2012 - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, announces immediate availability of Freescale Kinetis K10 and K20 Ultra-Low-Power Microcontrollers for cost-sensitive applications.
Freescale Semiconductors' Kinetis K10 and K20 derivatives are the lowest power Kinetis microcontrollers to date, consuming only 190nA in VLLS0 stop mode and 270uA/MHz run mode with a maximum frequency of 50 MHz. These devices combine extensive feature integration with small form factor, making them ideal for space-constrained applications, while expanding the Kinetis 32-bit MCU portfolio built on the ARM® Cortex™-M4 processor.
The Kinetis K10 and K20 devices are suitable for a wide range of applications including I/O modules for factory automation, portable healthcare instruments, USB microphones, gaming headsets, and smart grid applications demanding solid processing power with aggressive low-power profiles.
"Kinetis K10 and K20 microcontrollers are part of Freescale's Energy Efficient Solutions program, featuring products that implement energy-efficient technologies and deliver market-leading performance in their respective applications," said Richie Habib, Product Marketing Manager for Future Electronics.
More information about Freescale's Kinetis K10 and K20 Ultra-Low-Power Microcontrollers, 8 bit microcontrollers, 16 bit microcontrollers, 32 bit microcontrollers, as well as a large available-to-sell electronics component inventory, can be found at FutureElectronics.com.
