Ruggedly molded of LMDP (Linear Medium Density Polyethylene) plastic to meet or exceed MIL-STD 810G standards, these new Shock Racks are lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat- and chemical-resistant, and ATA-rated at 300, category 1, the highest standard for an airline transport carrier.

"Each rack includes 8 built-in elastometric shock absorbers which allow standard payload range of 40 to 150 pounds," explains Beth Bulger, Caseman, Inc. Marketing Director, "but, of course, we welcome special order options for an extended payload range of 160 to 300 pounds." In addition to a 24" depth rail-to-rail, these new 3RR Series racks have a standard 19" rack width per ANSI/EIA-310-C specification plus square-hole rack rails which accommodate either #10-32 US standard, or 6mm International standard cage nuts which are supplied with all cases.

Other standard features include: 2" deep front lid and 5" deep rear lid to accommodate rack gear exceeding 24"; convenient edge casters; universal molded-in stacking ribs and lugs; plus sturdy, built-in tow handle for easy one-person maneuvering. In addition, all cases include recessed black powder-coated stainless steel hardware, eight spring-loaded, comfort grip lift handles, automatic pressure relief valves, lid hangars and case coupling straps.
