(Newsbox) 28-Feb-2011

The purpose of The Social Experiment is to show how much a $1 donation can help. The receiver of the donations, benefit more slowly than other methods, however, each donation solidifies that people believe in our ideas.

Have you ever heard of social donating? TJ Nevis and Ashley Billingsley are chaning what you know social donating to be with The Social Experiment.  The Social Experiment, on TJandAshley.org, is shaping up to be the new face of social donating, in that TJ and Ashley are in tune with their viewers.  They explain what the donations will fund using video, the easiest communication method todat.  They will also be displaying their donation stats right on their website.  If that wasn't good enough, 10% of all donations will be donated back to charitable organizations.

Donations will primarily fund their personal projects, which may include an organic recipe website, travel blog for young couples and the current project, TheseSitesAre.Me.  TJ and Ashley are committed to posting new videos from time to time to show their followers what has been done thus far.  You may view these video updates on your computer, tablet, smartphone or iPad.  You will also have the option to join a mailing list to help you stay tuned in to any updates they may have.

Upon reaching each goal they have set, 10% of all donations will be donated back to charitable organizations.  TJ and Ashley have each chosen a cause that is important to them for personal reasons, and 5% of all donations will go to each charity.  TJ chose the ASPCA.  He worked in an animal hospital for some time and has rescued two cats.  He has seen the need for funding in order to help with animal aid.  Ashley chose Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Her aunt lost her battle with breast cancer in 2005, at age 49.  With a family history of the disease, Ashley sees the importance of funding in order to eventually find a cure.
