LAUNCH OF CHARTER TO COMBAT GLOBAL WARMING AND SEMINAR ON
“GLOBAL WARMING – AWARENESS TO ACTION”

Rotary Club of Mumbai Mahim (RCMM) is organizing an interactive seminar for increasing awareness on Global Warming (GW) to promote action. This Seminar will be held on         Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Welingkar Institute of Management, Matunga.

The main highlights of this unique seminar are the launching of the charter to combat global warming and assessment of carbon footprints of attendees.

In order to underscore our commitment to combat GW, RCMM has formulated a Charter (attached) which outlines the framework of actions RCMM will undertake. All Rotary Clubs in Mumbai District will join and sign the Charter during the Seminar.

Environmental Management Centre (EMC), the knowledge partner of this seminar, has developed a Carbon Footprint (CFP) Calculator for “Mumbaikars”.
