Kids R Kids Preschool of Arlington/Mansfield has been notified that it has been designated as Texas

School Ready! ™ by the Children’s Learning Institute (CLI) at The University of Texas Health Science

Center at Houston.  Kids R Kids earned this distinction by meeting the high standards that are set by the

 CLI state-funded evaluation process. 

Texas School Ready! ™ is a program that certifies preschool education classrooms that have effectively

prepared their students for kindergarten. The program is based on the actual linking between:

·     the quality instructional practices that must be in place in a preschool program to get children

ready for kindergarten    AND                      

·         the children actually achieving scores showing they were on track in the areas of reading and

social skills when they went to kindergarten.

 When classrooms earn certification, they receive the Texas School Ready! ™ seal which is posted in the

early childhood education center or school. The seal has the year the certification was awarded. This

powerful seal tells parents, the community, and others that the children who graduated from these

classrooms went to public kindergarten with the fundamental skills in place to be

successful. The Texas School Ready!  Certification system was created as a result

of the Texas Senate Bill 23 in 2003.

Kids R Kids Preschool of   Arlington/Mansfield is owned and operated by Bill & Molly

 Sample.  They have a combined 38 years in public and private schools and give a

 unique perspective on the value of a nurturing and safe environment for children

to learn and grow. Their goal is to partner with parents to insure the children

become responsible, considerate and contributing members of society.   The

preschool building is state of the art with over 15,000 square feet and features: 10

 classroom suites, a cafe', a library/computer lab, a resource room, a large activity

room/gym, an outdoor basketball court, and four separate age appropriate

playgrounds. The after school and summer programs provide activities and

enrichment opportunities for children year around.
