Scott & White Health Plan serves more than 220,000 members and is the insurance division of Scott & White, one of the nation’s largest multi-specialty health care systems, caring for patients across 25,000 square miles in the heart of central Texas.

Scott & White Health Plan required a flexible and secure end-to-end network solution that needed to be operational upon move-in into a new, purpose-built facility in Temple, TX. The network had to be up and running quickly in order to meet the client’s three-month turnaround requirement, while providing scalability for future Ethernet usage patterns. FiberLight extended its fiber from its core backbone between Temple and Waco to the new Scott & White facility, provided the FiberLight LightSource Ethernet solution and connected the new facility with Clearview Data Center, which spanned a 40+ mile distance. The network provided Scott & White with a direct path, while offering ultra low latency and 99.999 percent reliability.
