Irish Technology Leadership Group Honors TARGUSinfo CEO George Moore

Vienna, Va., March 17, 2011 - The Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG), in conjunction with Irish America magazine, honored TARGUSinfo Chairman and CEO George Moore today by naming him to their prestigious "Silicon Valley 50" list. The "Silicon Valley 50" highlights the top 50 Irish or Irish-American executives making a significant impact in and around Silicon Valley within their field of technology. "Silicon Valley 50" executives have exhibited the creativity, intelligence, dedication and determination necessary to compete and succeed in the competitive world of technology. Moore is joined on the list by executives from a number of different companies including Google, Apple, Warner Bros., Facebook, AT&T, Best Buy, Foursquare, Intel, Cisco, NYSE, Logitech, PricewaterhouseCoopers and more. Prior, Moore was Executive Vice President and a principal at National Decision Systems (NDS), a demographic information and target marketing company based in San Diego, Calif. In 2007, Her Majesty, The Queen of England, recognized Moore for his contribution to the Northern Ireland economy and for his international work on behalf of all of Ireland with an Honorary CBE -- Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. He is Chairman of Erne Heritage Holdings and a member of the Board of Directors of the New Ireland Fund (NYSE IRL). Moore holds both Economics and M.B.Sc. degrees from the University College Dublin, and an M.B.A. and D.B.A. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Sciences by the University of Ulster in 2006.
