ICF International Awarded $36.5 Million ENERGY STAR® Contract

FAIRFAX, Va. (March 30, 2011) - ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a re-compete contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Air and Radiation to provide technical and analytical support for the ENERGY STAR® Program—Labeling and Residential Branch. The contract has a value of $36.5 million and a term of five years.

The ICF team will be tasked with a number of crucial responsibilities, including providing EPA with specification development, research and analysis, sales and marketing strategies, media marketing, software and electronic information development, program integrity support, program evaluation, administration, and management support for the ENERGY STAR program.

The purpose of ENERGY STAR is to protect the environment, primarily through reductions in energy use, by identifying and labeling products and residential buildings in the marketplace which are significantly more energy efficient. The long term goal of ENERGY STAR is to help effect market transformation that will sustain the purchase and use of increasing levels of energy efficient products indefinitely.
