Madison, WI – April 5, 2011 – Esker, the leader in document process automation solutions, today announced the signing of an agreement with Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI) to automate processing of sales orders into TKI’s SAP system. This new agreement builds on the success of a recent project with Esker to automate TKI’s customer invoice approval process.

TKI originally implemented Esker DeliveryWare several years ago, primarily to integrate automated faxing with its SAP system. Last year, TKI successfully completed a project using Esker DeliveryWare to automate and streamline a paper-heavy, labor-intensive process of approving customer invoices within accounts receivable.

With new acquisitions always coming online and a desire to keep its current customer service staffing levels, TKI sought to automate as much of the sales order process as possible. To help accomplish this by eliminating manual processing of orders received via fax and email, Esker DeliveryWare performs database lookups and delivers an XML document to TKI’s SAP system.

“Going from paper-based processes to electronic, we see tremendous value in Esker DeliveryWare as a single solution to automate multiple processes,” said Dan McMenomy, Director of Business Systems at TKI. “Along with this project, we’re also looking at leveraging the Esker platform to automate accounts payable processing.
