Whittaker, who is employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at BrightStar Care in Centerville, participated in a job swap with her company's undercover CEO, Shelly Sun. During the episode, Sun learned firsthand just how valuable and hard working her employees are.  As a result of Whittaker's exceptional job performance that the CEO experienced while training with her, Whittaker has been rewarded with a life-changing prize package, including a honeymoon trip for her husband and her family, payment of her mortgage for six months, and tuition for her to return to the Hondros College of Nursing this summer to pursue her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.

“Hondros College of Nursing always made me feel like part of the family when I was enrolled in the LPN program,” Whittaker said. “Hondros was there with me through the ups and downs, and I am excited to continue my education and return this summer.”

Prior to beginning her career in nursing, Whittaker was employed at General Motors, but was laid off when the plant closed. Whittaker chose to follow her dreams of becoming a nurse.

“Hondros College is excited that Lisa has decided to return to our Fairborn campus this summer to begin her Associate Degree in Nursing,” said Dean Debbie Ulrich. “Lisa is a stellar student, and we are proud that she is a Hondros Nurse. We are excited to welcome her back in July.”
