Campaign to Stimulate Tourism in Arab Countries

The launch of the largest promotional campaign to stimulate tourism in Arab countries has recently been announced in the opening of the "Arab Forum for promoting Arab tourism, where the Arab Producers Union for TV Production and the Arab Organization for tourism, have launched a large media campaign titled "Discover the tourism in Arab countries" to promote inter-Arab tourism using the latest media technologies, advertising and new ways applied for the first time in the Arab world.
Dr. "Bandar Bin Fahd Al-Fahd," President of the Arab Tourism Organization during the "Arab Forum for promoting Arab tourism" in Delta Sharm hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh under the patronage of the
Arab League in the presence of "Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour," the President of the Council of Ministers of Arab tourism in the Arab League and many of the tourism Arab ministers, that the organization will seek with all their efforts to provide full support this campaign and its media projects to succeed and reach the desired goals, including praising the great role of the Union of Arab producers and The Arabic Network for joint broadcasting in focusing on providing meaningful media to serve our communities. At the same time, he expressed his happiness to lunch such as this noble campaign, which aims to highlight the importance of the role of tourism in the rapprochement between peoples through media, and to highlight the historical evidences which show the depth of Arab civilization and to promote to the Arab identity through the tourism culture.
The Secretary-General of the Arab producers union, the media man "Mustafa Salama" said that the union is seeking through this campaign to restore the movement of Arab tourist to normal and that this campaign is the first media initiative which serves the field of tourism and contribute to the promotion of tourism in the Arab world up to the first work of joint Arab broadcasting to new media serves the new communities in this area.
And Salama added, the General Secretariat of joint broadcasting which is working under the umbrella of the Arab producers union, and who is the Chief Executive and it has 70 member Arab television channels from around the Arab countries, 40 publishing institutions, and 10 news agencies in addition to 2500 e-publisher. They will promote to the campaign "Discover Arab Tourism" and what includes of projects using the latest media technologies, advertising and new ways applied for the first time in the Arab world towards the provision of meaningful media that serves our Arab communities and comes into contact with our needs and in line with what we want in the media technology revolution which is changing every day.
The signing of the Protocol of the campaign was attended by "Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour," the President of the Council of Ministers of Tourism of the Arab League and the Arab Ministers of Tourism in Jordan, Bahrain, Sudan, and Palestine, and the representatives of tourism in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, Kuwait and the Arab League.
