O'Reilly selects Ingram's CoreSource platform

26-May-2011 | News-Press Release

NASHVILLE, TN – Ingram Content Group Inc. today announced that O’Reilly Media has selected Ingram’s CoreSource platform for digital asset management and distribution. O’Reilly’s selection of CoreSource builds on the two companies’ total inventory management agreement announced in April of this year.

“Both O’Reilly and Ingram understand where the market is heading and that to succeed in the digital age, content must be nimble and available to be distributed in any format, seamlessly, to any destination,” said Marcus Woodburn, Vice President of Digital Products, Ingram Content Group Inc. “We look forward to expanding our relationship with O’Reilly and building innovative new business models that help forward-thinking publishers grow their business.”

After an extensive review of digital asset management systems, O'Reilly Media concluded that CoreSource was the right choice for their business because of Ingram’s demonstrated track record of success in the distribution of digital content and the superior technology of the easily scalable platform.

"At O'Reilly, we've built our digital business through continuous innovation," said Pascal Honscher, General Manager, Digital Initiatives, O’Reilly Media. "As its growth accelerates, using Ingram’s CoreSource to support the day-to-day operations of digital distribution allows us to focus on what we do best – innovate."

Ingram’s CoreSource® is an easy to use, online solution for the storage, management, and distribution of digital content. Used by over 800 publishers worldwide, CoreSource® delivers a secure, searchable content repository and a high-capacity data distribution network, allowing publishers to move digital content easily and swiftly from their organization to any channel partner globally.
