15-Jul-2011 | News-Press Release

A new book titled “101 Reasons People Get Fired” has just been officially launched into the Amazon.com and its subsidiary company, Createspace.com’s online bookstores.  The 94 paged book that centres on career excellence, higher productivity level, and job security is authored by Ben E. Odjes, an HR expert whose impact is in employee’s lives is already being felt internationally.

Job security is employees’ biggest fears and burden the world over, this 21st century. And that is what this book intends to deal with.

The book was written in order to provide employees the world over with very useful tips and practical guidelines to career excellence, job-efficiency and how to secure their job/career without getting fired. It is written in easy to read format to allow for easy comprehension and assimilation. In other words, the book teaches how to be more creative, productive, and impactful in employee’s diverse places of  work, and as well as how to springboard on these secrets to get  promoted sooner than ever, even as they help their distinctive organizations to reach targeted goals and objectives faster than ever.

The author, Ben E. Odjes, is very concerned about the growing rate of people getting fired the world over, backed by credible reports from several trustworthy job/career security surveys, despite the seemingly end of mass downsizing effected/influenced by the ebbing global economic crisis.

The author argues that despite the large scale downsizing that rocked the global economy ( and business organizations) since the 1990s, deep into the heart of the Global Economic crisis, the world over, and threw several thousands of employees back into the labour market, a good percentage of those that were affected and lost their jobs were actually responsible for their own misfortune because of the dispensable image they had hanging over themselves in their individual place of work.

“The people who make a difference are not the ones with the credentials, but the ones with concern”- Max Lucado. This quote goes in support of his claim, for most people  generally no sooner involuntarily (or even voluntarily)  wrongly assume that that their glossy credentials is just about enough leverage to get them the job and as well keep them from being fired.

101 Reasons People Get Fired - is readily available online at createspace.com and amazon.com.
