Kigali To Have South African Airways Back
15-Sep-2011 | News-Press Release
News has it that the south Africa Airways is hoping of starting its flights from Johannesburg to Burundi, Bujumbura and Rwanda Kigali three times a week which may commence in October. The South Africa Airways had stopped its flights to Kigali for some time and it was only Rwanda Air in operation working four times a week from Rwanda to South Africa.
Rule number one is that the South Africa Airways has to make flights in two countries specifically when the Rwanda Air is not in operation. The traffic days may increase but the management has to find a way of curbing it down.
The Airways has contributed to the development of Rwanda's Economy because ever since it was returned, there is a high demand of both business travelers and tourists visiting the Country. The Bujumbura en route has made Burundi prominent because it's easily accessed by Air. It’s a French speaking Country although it has excluded from the East African safari tourism sector, South Africa Tours, however the good news is that business visitors are moving in to invest in their trade and have the country develop at a very fast rate.
