This Mifare card reader, model 223016, is designed for use with 13.56 MHz proximity cards compliant with ISO 14443A. It can be used with access control mechanism to provide user identification to access a device such as a system terminal only in the presence of a valid RFID card.

It offers a maximum read distance of up to 8 cm and provides for anti collision and fast data transfer. It also features high data integrity, and high security and reliability. This RFID reader has a memory capacity of 32 kb and communicates with a computer via RS232 interface for data storage and further view. In addition, associated cards can be re-formatted and re-used.

This Mifare card RFID reader belongs to GAO's family of 13.56 MHz high frequency RFID readers.
