Atlanta, GA - Allied Logistics, Inc. for the second consecutive year has participated as a sponsor of the MBEIC Regional Riverboat Cruise & Conference.
The Regional Conference hosted by GE Energy culminated the two day event. Participants at the conference learned about contract procurement, strategies for competing in a global market and marketing. The Procurement Forum panelists included Joan Robinson-Berry, The Boeing Company, Russell Toney, GE Energy and Cheryl Kern, International Paper.
The riverboat cruise was held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 and the conference the following day, August 20th.
This is our second year of sponsorship noted Milton Kirby, president of Allied Logistics. Last year we connected with several larger MBE's and major corporations. One of those relationships culminated into an ongoing business relationship.
We want to continue to be a part of this great event. The GMSDC and its activities is one of the premier gateways to corporate business opportunity. "We have every intention to continue our commitment and participation with both the cruise and the conference in 2011,” Kirby said.
