This RFID Bluetooth paddle reader, model 246004, features full read/write functionality for compatible tags and is compatible with ISO 18000-6b, EPC Class 1 Gen 1 and EPC UHF Gen 2 standard tags.

Bluetooth connectivity makes it a perfect retrofit option for businesses that want to add value to their investment in handheld technology. When used in conjunction with Bluetooth GPS location devices it provides distances up to 1 m for asset mapping. The data rate is up to 640 kbps.

This compact portable proximity reader is available with ActiveX controls for Microsoft Windows application programmers undertaking software integration.  Additionally, this reader has a built-in antenna and is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.
