USB Data Acquisition Module Offers High Performance at Low Cost

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) is offering its USB data acquisition module to add measurement and control capability to any USB capable computer. It is ideal for data acquisition in such areas as medicine, vibration measurement, in scientific research and industry.
Providing 16 single-ended analog inputs with a 12-bit resolution, this easy-to-use USB data acquisition module, model A0K20002, offers a maximum sampling rate of up to 100 kS/s. In addition to the analog inputs, it has 2 analog outputs, a 32-bit event counter, as well as 8 digital input channels and 8 digital output channels. It has such sampling modes as software, onboard programmable pacer or external. The unit is fully USB plug and play. It obtains all required power from the USB ports with no need for an external power supply.
This plug and play USB data acquisition module belongs to GAO’s family of Data Acquisition Cards/Modules. The line of data acquisition cards also includes the PC104 Data Acquisition Module which allows for quick and easy parallel data acquisition and time-phase sensitive acquisition and the PCI Data Acquisition Card which is ideal for applications such as transient signal recording, refined frequency synthesis, multi-channel parallel acquisition and time-phase-sensitive acquisition.
