Sri Palam Silks today opened doors to Anna Nagar and nearby residents with the launch of their third store in the city at the Chinthamani Signal in Anna Nagar East. The store was declared open in a traditional ceremony with customers and well-wishers including Ms. Suhasini Maniratnam and Ms. Aishwarya Danush who graced the occasion. Shri Nalli Kuppuswami Chetty, father of Jeyasree ‘Silkworm’ Ravi who runs Palam, also blessed the new venture with his presence.
“Overwhelmed at the response to our existing stores in Pondy Bazaar and TTK Road and by the repeated request of our customers from west Chennai, it was only a matter of time before we set up a store in this bustling city-within-a-city”, said an elated Jeyasree.

The unique saree is intricately designed in pure kancheepuram pattu using high finish zari to make the person wearing it look at their slimmest best! All Palam concepts are derived from an inspiration which is then modeled into tailoring the perfect saree, without compromising the finesse of the silk, levels of workmanship or quality of the zari.
Besides their widely accepted range of sarees, Palam is synonymous with their annual fashion show Silkline that is dotted with celebrities, well-wishers and customers who are big fans of Ms. Jeyasree’s handpicked collections. The show hosted in September sees more than 50 sarees on display including the launch of a variety of concept sarees.
The new spacious store aims to provide customers with a wide variety of muhurtam pattu, designer silks, fancy sarees as well as trademark concept sarees.
