It is integrated with a Unitech RH767 rugged mobile computer and is capable of both RFID tag and barcode reading. The portable RFID reader/writer is intended for many applications including access control, asset tracking, warehouse management and livestock management.

This dual RFID and barcode reader, model 223003, operates under Windows CE 5.0 Professional Plus and boasts an Intel Processor 400MHz CPU. It offers both SDRAM of 64 MB and Flash ROM of 64 MB allowing a plentiful amount of information input and processing. The RFID reader/writer is compliant with ISO 15693 and 14443 tag standards and reads compliant transponders at a distance from 10 to 13 cm.

The handheld HF RFID interrogator is equipped with a high resolution TFT color LCD with touch panel and provides a dual color LED indicator for status indication. 36 hard keys allow users to easily input information and carry out wanted operations. 2 side buttons are offered for scanner trigger. This 13.56 MHz RFID reader/writer communicates through its USB port, infrared, PCMCIA, or 1 CF Type 1/Type II slot. It is powered by a 12 V DC external adapter or a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.
