Kudosz Helps Attract More Business

Fairfax, Virginia – August 31, 2010 – Kudosz.com launched the coupon distribution portion oftheir service today. Kudosz.com is a new, Virginia-based business review website.

The coupon distribution service facilitates businesses to engage current and potential customerswith incentives. Kudosz.com automatically links to digital coupons that registered businessesspecify by web address location, which means businesses can provide links to digital couponsavailable anywhere online, through a single website.

“Kudosz.com is unique in that we provide a social media marketing service to small businessesthat takes very little of their time, and empowers them to connect to users of all the major socialnetworks on the Internet today,” said Joseph Harmon, Kudosz.com founder.

The Kudosz site allows consumers to post reviews about businesses in 115 characters or lessthrough mini blogs, called micro blogs. Micro bloggers can then award Kudosz stars to thebusinesses they review based on their positive experiences and share their reviews to everyone intheir social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.

What is noticeably absent from the Kudosz service is an open forum for complaints. Kudosz.com members make decisions about the businesses they choose to patronize based onfavorable word-of-mouth, which means companies need not worry about whether theirreputations are declining, at least via the Kudosz service.

Harmon calls his micro blogging review service ‘Twitter plus Yelp plus effective small businesssocial media marketing,’ referring to the added capability of registered businesses to rewardpositive reviewers with coupons and other promotions.

“Kudosz.com allows businesses to engage their clientele in a way that other social networks can’t. Businesses can reward their customers for good reviews, and directly generate repeat andnew business,” added Harmon.
