ASI Displays Introduces Two 4.0

ASI Displays has introduced two 4.0" displays to their family of color TFT displays using advanced HFFS technology. The ASI-T-400NA3MN/S with MIPI/MDDI interface and the ASI-T-400NA3FN/S with MPU/SPI/RGB interface, provides bright 320 nit backlit displays with popular 480x800 (WVGA) pixel resolution, 16.7M colors, contrast ratios of 800:1, and all angle viewing of 85/85/85/85.
Ideal for portable equipment, HFFS (High aperture ratio Field Fringe Switching) offers high pixel density, extreme all-around viewing angles, high light transmittance (30-40% higher aperture ratio), high brightness, and lower power consumption, compared to conventional TFT displays. Backlight current can be kept lower while still providing exceptional outdoor readability.
Applications include navigators, cell phones, outdoor kiosks, auto, aviation and marine equipment and any product requiring excellent readability under all lighting conditions.
