You Tell Us Your Goals and We Will Tailor The Game To Your Needs

11-May-2011 | News-Press Release

Catalyst has developed a comprehensive range of business games. These activities reflect the roles, decisions, issues and consequences encountered every day in businesses large and small and are designed to provide tangible improvements in the workplace. Each game has been created with specific outcomes in mind. You tell us your goals and we will tailor the game to your needs.

Knowing Me Knowing You

Relationships matter, and a highly connected workforce is a valuable asset to any organisation. Knowing Me Knowing You is a lighthearted vehicle to break the ice and accelerate the networking process.

The activity begins with a warm-up exercise to get participants into teams; from then on individuals are tasked with gathering as many business and personal commonalties with the other players as they can. A competitive structure and unique game matrix keeps the energy buzzing. At set periods individuals return to their teams tally there scores and receive details of their next goal. From then on making connections is everything as teams work the room right up to the final whistle.

Knowing Me Knowing You helps to build common ground between individuals, smoothing the path of sharing information and best practice that will inevitably lead to improved bottom line results

Talent Scout

A fast paced and fun networking teambuilding activity. The challenge is simple; receive a project brief and put together a team with all the right players to meet the customers' needs.

However, teams soon realise that there is competition for skills and many different layers of suppliers and customers.

Trading Post

Trading Post is a supercharged team building game of information gathering, haggling and building trust - an excellent icebreaker or conference interlude.

The 'trading post' in question is the wild and lawless town of Dodge City in the 1860s - a time of great opportunity, and yet where disaster awaits the unwary and the ill-informed. Possibly our most versatile activity, it can be played by 12 to 800 people during a conference, pre-dinner, or after dinner.

It is particularly successful as an event that will break down barriers and unite groups while reinforcing the key principles of negotiating.

Out Of The Box

Out of the Box is an ingenious way to generate fresh ideas and get to grips with company issues.

To start, delegates are invited into the conference room and discover that the space is empty apart from a number of large wooden crates. The crate folds out into a large display stand and inside they find details on their issue together with supporting material and props.

Each team's task is to create a display on the stand that addresses the issue and present their analysis, findings and recommendations. Time is short so they have to use their initiative and be resourceful with the materials to hand. Once completed each display is brought to life with a live presentation.

Challenging and lots of fun, Out of the Box has proved to be incredibly effective at harnessing the thinking power, creativity and knowledge of delegates for a wide range of organisations.
