H.B. Nayak, a senior former WIPROit has entered media business by setting-up a start-up company Lights & Shadows Private Limited in Mumbai. The move of setting-up of the start-up is an outcome of  Mr. Nayak’s successful negotiations in recent months for procurement of long term job work contracts of Hollywood films production, post-production, animation and other media content development that includes global TV content  development and Channel operations.

The Corporate office and main studio facilities will be set-up in Mumbai, India, however, the company will have worldwide shooting schedules for the contract productions for the 6 years’ time.  Further Company will set-up world class animation facilities around Bangalore city.  The final contracts will be signed in the month of May 2011. The company expects creation  of at least 2000 employment opportunities in India in next 3 years’ time. In addition, to media content development the company will provide business and industry software solutions to global clients.

Along with technical collaboration, the Lights & Shadows will get equity funding from the collaborating partner.

Lights & Shadows Studio Private Limited is incorporated to set up world class film making facilities in India and by May 2011 will be converted in to Public Limited Company with foreign equity and technical collaboration
