Most of Clarcity’s merchant partners choose to make their deals available indefinitely. Clarcity’s model is friendly to users because it gives them plenty of time to decide which deal they would like to purchase. Merchants have welcomed the Clarcity service because it gives them more opportunity to monetize the deals that they have created.

“Customers of ‘daily deal’ sites are collectively wasting tens of millions of dollars every year purchasing coupons that they don’t use,” said Clarcity president Nate Klein. “Because our deals don’t expire after 24 hours, users can wait until they’re ready use the product or service to get a coupon.”

To get a coupon, users first take an action on <a href="http://www.clarcity.com">Clarcity.com</a> or <a href="http://www.shareapon.com">Shareapon.com</a>. <a href="http://www.clarcity.com">Clarcity.com</a> lets users share reviews for doctors, lawyers, and other local professionals and Shareapon is a site where users share content from popular news sites and blogs with friends on their favorite social network.

“Users can get a coupon for reviewing their doctor on Clarcity, sharing a link on Sharepon, or invite their friends to join the Clarcity network,” explained Udayan Chattopadhyay, Clarcity’s chief operating officer. “The entire process takes less time than giving your credit card information to a daily deal service.”
