Despite the recessionary economic climate in Europe, and lack of capacity in Private Care homes in Scandinavia, the rising rents have had little impact to prevent the demands surpassing the supply.
Wealthy Russians are seeking comfort, safety and quality of service to place their ageing and handicapped relatives, and Finland is a preferred choice. Ease of access by rail, road, air from St. Petersburg and Moscow are prime considerations.
The City of Helsinki is in short supply of accommodation and currently pay Euro 180+/day/person and upto Euro 5000-; /month/person, short-term contracts, in some private care homes.
The Russian Elder Care Home Helsinki has a waiting list of upto 5 years, whilst the Swedish Elder Care Home in Helsinki has an entry fee of upto Euro 150,000-; per apartment and has a waiting list of 10+ years, exclusively for Swedish speaking clients.

The second hotel with 122 rooms, is currently enjoying a 70%+ commercial occupancy, may increase the occupancy levels to over 100% with aggressive marketing management.
The third premises is currently occupied by patients suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia, the management of which is seeking larger premises to meet the continued demand.
Above three premises are available on Lease for upto 10-15 years, or available For Sale outright. A 11 year lease for the 122 room hotel is offered at Euro 3 million to include Fixtures & Fittings, with a potential for recovery of investment during the first 4-6 years, by fully utilising the revenue generation potential.
All three facilities may be operated as Three Star luxury hotels, with restaurant, health-care, recreational facilities, and multi-lingual staff.
