The Hilton Naples was honored with The Southwest Florida Choice Award for Best Resort Hotel during Thursday night’s Naples Daily News Reader's Choice Awards hosted at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts.

The Ninth Annual Reader’s Choice Awards allowed for Naples Daily News readers to submit over 300,000 votes in 122 categories. Over 3,000 online users logged on to voice their favorite Naples business.

For each of the 122 categories, 2 awards were presented. The Southwest Florida Choice Champion awards are bestowed on the businesses that received the most votes. The Southwest Florida Choice Star is awarded to the one that received the second most.
