Reliable Portable Transmission Line/Antenna Analyzer

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has launched its High Performance Transmission Line/Antenna Analyzer which is used for installation, verification, troubleshooting and solving RF system problems. The analyzer is commonly used in broadcast television, CATV, GPS, and GSM/PCS.

This easy-to-use portable transmission line/antenna analyzer, model A0070003, offers a built-in precise synthesized signal source, a high sensitive receiver and a high performance CPU. It uses a keypad to enter data and a liquid crystal display (LCD) to provide a graphical indication of SWR, or return loss (RL) over the selected frequency range.

Using frequency domain reflectometry (FDR) technology, it provides standard measurements such as VSWR, return loss, cable loss, and distance-to-fault (DTF) analysis. This light weight analyzer has a large memory to store measurement data and communicates with a computer through a USB port for measurement data download/upload or print.

This high performance transmission line/antenna analyzer belongs to GAO’s family of Other Testers. This line also includes Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum Analyzer which is used to install, test, troubleshoot, analyze and optimize wireless networks in telecommunications, broadcasting and CATV, and high-performance PCM channel analyzer which performs tests for level, variation of gain with frequency, variation of gain with input level, quantizing distortion, idle channel noise, crosstalk, return loss and longitudinal conversion loss.
