(www.GAORFID.com) recommends this long-range UHF RFID interrogator PCMCIA card which achieves extremely reliable performance in real time data collection in identification, tracing, and locating of assets or people. It is capable of efficiently identifying fast-moving objects and large numbers of tags simultaneously.

This UHF RFID reader, model 227001, uses UHF radio frequency technology with an advanced anti-collision algorithm, allowing it to accurately transmit and receive information to and from literally thousands of RFID tags. It has an identification rate of 100 tags per second and identifies a large quantity of up to 2000 tags at the same time. Its read/write range is tunable up to 100 m.

The RFID interrogator can be easily integrated into a laptop, handheld or mobile computer, and is shipped with development software for application development under Windows CE/9x/NT/ 2000/XP and Linux systems. The software also enables the processing of data and update firmware from the PCMCIA or serial interface.

This long range UHF RFID interrogator PCMCIA card belongs to GAO's family of 900 MHz RFID readers. The line includes a wide variety of RFID readers to meet customers' different needs.
